Mmmmmmm pretzels!!! Now, are we talking the hard pretzels outta a bag or the soft, fresh baked ones??? Either one is good to me. I have a recipie somewhere for soft ones, they come out great!!! I should make a batch of 'em up, the firstborn loves 'em too. I've got a thing of margarita salt that'd go on 'em... I remember that the recipie required you to boil them in a solution of baking soda and water before baking them. That part made an impression on me, I guess because that is the only time I've ever heard of such a thing. OK, now I'm craving a soft pretzel at 1 in the morning!!! Look what you did to me Granny!!! If I'm baking pretzels at 2:30 or running around trying to find a 24 hour grocery store for a packet of yeast, its all on you!!!
If its hard pretzels, I gotta go with Rold Gold brand. Finest in the land, thats what Aye say.
